in a bubble
Wilko left yesterday and since then I have felt completely numb.. like I'm in a bubble.. can't think straight because he is on my mind ALL the time.. my working collegues have noticed that I'm not focused at all since I'm dreaming away at work and during my free time.
Well I'm happy my father and Alex are here. They are both very special to me and they get along with eachother like hell!
Yesterday after work we ate dinner @ Mythos and after that we walked along the Caldera doing some window shopping. We stopped at a place where 2 of my friends were playing live music so we decided to sit down there for a while. The view was absolutely stunning and we were all enjoying it!
And one thing you all should know is that Alex is a photographer and not a bad one either. Yesterday he was taking pictures again like he used to! Haha, dangerous ones too, standing right in front of a big group of donkeys walking towards him, all I can say is that he is insane in the membrane haha!
Well either way I'm off.. missing everyone back home and Wilko.

He has also met my dad since my father is in Santorini now and this morning I left them talking since I had to go to work. They have a lot in common and I'm happy to see that.
I must say it is very strange to have these sorts of feelings again since I thought that Rambo was the only one that I would ever have feelings for. The funny thing is that Wilko had the same problem with his ex. We both said that it felt like we had hearts of stone but that it has changed.
We have been sleeping outside my tent for 3 days now and "my dog" Bobby (who follows me around wherever I go) always comes and joins us. Adorable!
I'm also so happy that daddy is here! I think he is very proud of me since I'm working a lot and I'm way better with money now than before! My father being the popular guy he is haha :) has met so many people already and is always talking to someone. I'm proud to be his daughter, really I am :)
I don't know what it is.. but there is something in the air and I love it!!

not the same but better
Well so many things have happened recently and I don't even know where to begin!! I have been working at Santorini camping for almost a week now and I'm absolutely LOVING IT!! I am a part-time receptionist and I also go down to the port to greet people there and bring them to the camping site.
The camping is located in Thira and has a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and is just a really nice place to stay..
I have my own tent and live next to Tom, Toni, Ben and Marta (basically the staff).
I have also met some wonderful dutch people recently who I have definitely connected with and that kind of made me realise how much I miss Holland since I'm so similar to the dutch (obviously since I am dutch). And when I go back to Swe then I want to start making some sort of a budget so that when I have enough money I can move to Amsterdam. I think Sweden is just not the place for me right now.. I'm too open-minded and need to live in a place where I can meet new people constantly. And one most not forget to mention that Amsterdam is absolutely b-e-a-utiful!
Well all I can say is that I have definitely changed but for the better, I see things in a whole different way now and I'm so happy that I'm in Santorini!!
Aaaand.. Alex is coming in 2 days, I can't wait to show him around! He will love this island!! Then my mum is coming in a week, AH! :) lovely.
Well I'm off now, I'm going to take a dip in the swimming pool, then off to the port and after that going out with the dutchies :)

Sorry for not updating my blog but I just have not had the time untill now..
Once again a lot has happened these last couple of days and there has been some ups and some downs.
Marianna and I went to Perissa beach two days ago, we went to Jojo's where the staff from Murphy's was, we had a great time and went out to dinner and finished off with a glass of white wine in Thira.
Then I've been spending some more time at the camping place and there I have met some beautiful people who I basically meet everyday!
However I've realised that I am still young and I'm still in the growing up phase since I have yet so much to learn and this trip to Santorini has definitely helped me grow a lot.
Tonight I might either work at the jewellery store for the last time or follow Sean to Kamari and try and fix a job there?
What should I do? Well I'm probably leaning more to Kamari since it will be more fun and my friends are there + I might as well start looking for a job there since it wasn't working out at the jewellery store. The job was too boring and I'm not even interested in jewellery so why work in one?!!
Well either way I just want to say thank you to my mum for answering phone calls in the middle of the night. It is really appreciated!
And then I also miss the boys, Mark and my daddy! I can't wait to see you again in August or September. Lots of love to you guys.
Well that's all for now, I'm off to the camping site.. Need to get some sort of a tan.

be cautious
I went quadbiking to Perissa with Daniel (another australian) the other day and we just had a great day at the beach with lots of sun and greek food!
Then I have been working a lot with the girls and today I have the day off.. finally.. I really needed that little break!
Even though so much good has happened here I still have to be cautious, things do happen in Santorini and I really got a taste of that yesterday evening. I was working my shift and had my coke as usual. So when customers come in then I have to go to them and take their orders, so occasionally I leave my drink behind. And now that ladies and gentlemen was a very stupid thing to do since before I knew it I drank my drink with a pill inside it and let me tell you something, it was NOT pleasant in any way! I don't want to go too much into detail since I don't want to worry the family too much but that was the last time that I leave my drink behind. It was NOT fun at all and I wouldn't wish that experience upon anyone.
Thank god I know people on the island, so the guys from Tithora helped me since I consider those lads to be like family.
So a big advice to all of you is to never leave a drink behind! NEVER!
Either way, my paranoia has abondoned me now so I can finally enjoy this hot day :)
I'm off, I need to buy some food and then maybe even do some shopping.

Overwhelming!
So much has happened and I don't even know where to begin!
A couple of days I met a girl called Marianna from Mexica who works as a waitress at Two Brothers and we hit it off great! We got eachothers backs now and we can basically talk about anything. We have been clubbing a couple of times now and we are by far the craziest girls on this island!
& then like three days ago I met a bunch of surfing australians who are just my type of people. We hit it off so great that I am actually moving in with them tomorrow. The one guy that I really clicked with is Daniel and we are like the perfect match. He reminds me so much of Pete Doherty and I'm his Kate Moss. Together we are like two bloody hippies on this island. Then the rest of the crew are Walker, Dean, Blaire, Blaire's bf, Bex, Chris and Lauren. They have been working at Kos as bartenders and now they are in Santorini to continue their working spree. We are all around the same age and I've been officially accepted in the family haha! Lovely people. We were at the pool all day today just drinking Sex on the Beach, tequila and drinking heaps of beer haha great fun! Then I must not forget to mention the Baby Oil. We all use this bottle religiously haha!
Yesterday was a magical night btw haha! First Marianna, Ben and I went out to different clubs and met with my crew. Then the night ended with Daniel and myself buying some Heineken and watching the sunrise! Crazy! Good times that's all I can say.
Then after that I crashed at the aussies crib and HAHA to our great surprise we found a cat in Blaire's and her bf's bed! We had such a laugh since everyone was freaking out about the diseased cat! HAHAHHA I'm laughing as I'm writing this, hilarious! I can't wait to move in with him and the rest tomorrow! AH!
Then another thing that happened is that I quit my job and tomorrow I will be working as a waitress at Highlander, (a great scotish bar) as a waitress! Seriously I'm darn proud of myself and couldn't be happier!
At the same time I will miss the guys at Tithora since they were like brothers to me but don't worry, I will still meet them everyday! Lots of love to you guys! <3
Either way, I'm gonna buy a gyros now mmm and then take a taxi to Kamari to pack my things so I can move out tomorrow!
MY LIFE IS FUCKING AWESOME! Don't even try to top it since you can't!
